If you are planning to trade during year-end holidays, this 2019 Christmas & New-year Trading Hours will guide you well. The next two weeks will be a bit light in the markets, with many participants taking a break. This year, Christmas day falls on Wednesday. This means that on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th the trading hours will be somewhat limited.

The festive period will bring some changes to our working hours and the trading schedule. So the trading hours for a number of financial instruments might be affected.
Schedule of trading hours (GMT)


Christmas Eve: 24th December
FX – Normal hours
Precious Metals – Early close at 18:30
Indices – Early close at 19:00

Christmas: 25th December
all markets closed

Boxing Day: 26th December
FX – Normal hours
Precious Metals – Normal hours
Indices –Some indices open late open at 07:00 and others closed though out the day.

New Year eve: 31st December
FX – Normal hours
Precious Metals – Normal hours
Indices – Early close at 19:00

New Year: 1st January
all markets closed
